The American reveals what she thinks about Europe. She didn’t feel safe in one country
An American tourist shared her conclusions about traveling around Europe. She felt safe not in all countries.
Although, according to many tourists, Europe is a relatively safe place, unpleasant incidents can happen anywhere. The Old Continent consists of several dozen countries, each of which is characterized by a different culture and traditions. One of the American tourists shared her conclusions about traveling after several of them. The 19-year-old indicated which country she visited in which she felt the most uncomfortable.
Dangerous European country
A few months ago, 19-year-old Eve from the United States went on a trip to Europe for the first time. She talked about her impressions after visiting eleven countries on the Old Continent in an interview with the British Daily Mail website. It turns out that a woman active on social media has reservations about the level of security in one of the places she visited. “While I was there, someone touched my hair in the supermarket and several people took pictures of me. I thought that since I was a short blonde with blue eyes, I might be at risk,” Eve recalls her visit to Albania. As she reports, she did not feel completely comfortable in the country with the capital in Tirana, but like a “potential victim”. She also had difficult experiences in Greece, where the hostel where she slept was infested with bedbugs.
The tourist praises other countries
Not all the places visited aroused such difficult emotions in the American. One of her favorite regions turned out to be Scandinavia. “Norway surprised me with how safe I felt. On the second day, I removed the padlock securing my bag,” we read. However, the tourist remembers Italy with the greatest fondness. “The best place in all of Europe is the Amalfi Coast in Italy! I found there wonderful and unprecedented hospitality, surfing and agricultural work,” says the American.
