Terrible news from the Polish national team. Bad luck is an understatement!
On Saturday evening (i.e. November 16), the Polish Football Association officially informed about the health situation regarding the Polish national team players.
It is worth recalling that the Poles suffered a heavy defeat 1:5 in Porto. Portugal completely dismantled the opponent in the last 30 minutes of the match. Unfortunately, by then the Polish national team had already had its share of problems. They resulted, among others, from: due to health problems.

Late on Saturday evening, information appeared about the health condition of the players who had problems both before and during the match against the Portuguese.
“During Friday’s Nations League match between Portugal and Poland, there were several injuries to Polish representatives. Immediately after returning to Warsaw, four players underwent imaging tests at the Enel-sport clinic. They allowed for a full assessment of the players’ health condition. Three of them were injuries that prevented the players from playing in Monday’s match against Scotland. – Jan Bednarek and Taras Romanczuk suffered knee ligament injuries, which exclude them from the game for about three weeks. Bartosz Bereszyński suffered damage to the quadriceps femoris muscle and, according to preliminary prognosis, his return to the field will take approximately 6-8 weeks – said Dr. Jacek Jaroszewski, doctor of the Polish national team,” we read in the official statement on the website of Łączy nas ball.
Positive news? There were some of them too. It looks like Sebastian Szymański can help his colleagues.
– Sebastian Szymański suffered a minor muscle injury during the pre-match warm-up. The player was withdrawn from the starting lineup and will be taken into account when determining the squad for the match against Scotland, added the Polish team doctor.

On Monday (November 18), the national team will play the “to be or not to be” match in division A at the PGE National Stadium in Warsaw.
