Teenager from Poland got lost on Greek beach, parents had to contact the authorities
A family from Poland experienced moments of terror on the Greek island of Corfu, when the 15-year-old son of our compatriots was unable to find his way to the hotel on his own. Local services were involved in the search.
Greece, popular among Poles, does not always provide only positive experiences. A three-person family from Poland was terrified when at one point their 15-year-old son separated from his parents. Both the adults and the boy, who could not find his way to the hotel, were terrified.
A 15-year-old from Poland went missing in Corfu
The Poles were relaxing on one of the popular beaches. However, the 15-year-old had had enough of swimming and sunbathing and went for a walk alone. Later, he gave no sign of life for several hours. Concerned, his mother and stepfather decided to return to the hotel and look for him there. When they found no trace of their son, they called the police.
The couple called 112, informing the officer on duty. He sent the police and the fire department to search. The services searched for several hours. It was only after a long time that the 15-year-old managed to contact 112. He had no reception earlier. He could not say where he was, so he shared his location. In this way, the firefighters were able to find him and take him to his parents.
