Iga Świątek will not play in the Australian Open 2025 final. The Polish woman lost in the semi -final after an exciting battle with Madison Keys. After the last ball, there were tears.

Keys was not ashamed of such emotions. The American after the last ball could not believe what happened. A 30 -year -old player also cried, which best shows how much the duel was charged with the big emotional load.

After the defeat of Świątek from Keys, we met a set of finalists AO 2025. The American, placed from number 19, will face the leader of the world ranking – Aryna Sabalenka. A player from Minsk in a great style reached her third in a row of the final in Melbourne. What’s more, Sabalenka triumphed in both cases, winning AO in both 2023 and 2024.
The Belarusian will therefore face the chance of a third win in a row in Australia. It would be the perfect opening of the year for the world “one” of WTA. In the case of Keys, the Grand Slam Triumph only in her career only once, in 2017, winning the US Open. The final clash of Sabalenka – Keys is scheduled for Saturday (i.e. January 25).
