However, the result itself does not reflect the level of the fight that floated over the court in Madrid. Ultimately, it turned out that this one break was crucial for the holidays to close the match after more than two and a half hours of playing 6: 4 in the set and 2: 1 in the match.

Who will Świątek play in the quarter -finals? Madison Keys will be an opponent. The American is the Grand Slam champion of the Australian Open 2025. Keys met with Świątek in an exciting semi -final in Melbourne, ultimately slightly lost by Świątek. There will be a chance for a rematch for a Polish player in Madrid.
