Sydney Sweeney has attacked Musk and Grok again. I can’t believe what they did

Elon Musk znów krąży wokół Sydney Sweeney

Elon Musk continues to provoke and annoy others. The billionaire “boasted” what his Grok can do to Sydney Sweeney.

The Tesla founder shared an artificial intelligence-generated video on his website X, which featured the image of Sydney Sweeney. The publication came just a few weeks after Musk was heavily criticized for an inappropriate comment about the actress’ body.

Video with Sydney Sweeney as a demonstration of Grok’s capabilities

The founder of xAI and owner of the X platform has published an AI-generated video showcasing the progress of Grok Imagine’s video generation feature. The recording shows a digitally generated figure that looks very similar to Sydney Sweeney on a spaceship.

“The Grok video is now 10 seconds long and the sound has been significantly improved,” Musk boasted, commenting on the footage. In the video itself, the artificial intelligence plays the actress’ words: “So let me explain this. Grok videos are now 10 seconds long and the sound is much better?” Her on-screen “partner” replies: “Yes, more or less… Do you like it?”

The author of the clip is user Alex Patrascu, who also published the exact content of the prompt used to generate the video. Importantly, Sydney Sweeney’s name did not appear in the query, so the question arises why her likeness was used.

No comment. An old scandal surfaces

Representatives for Sydney Sweeney and Platform X did not respond to Entertainment Weekly’s request for comment. Meanwhile, the case immediately evoked associations with Elon Musk’s previous, loudly commented action.

A few weeks earlier, the billionaire was criticized for a comment published under a video from the premiere of the film “Domestic Help”, in which the actress was wearing a dress with a deep neckline. Musk then shared an AI-generated image split into four parts with the captions “What it looks like” and “What it feels like,” suggesting that Sydney Sweeney may suffer from back pain due to her proportions. “It can’t be easy,” he wrote at the time.

Grok under the microscope of the prosecutor’s office and the European Union

The controversy surrounding Grok has been growing for months. The Grok Imagine application was launched in July 2025, offering, among others: “Spicy” mode, enabling the generation of NSFW images, including sexual content.

Earlier this month, California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced the opening of an investigation into the “dissemination of unwanted sexual material” generated by Grok. “The avalanche of reports detailing sexual material that xAI has produced and posted online in recent weeks is shocking,” Bonta said. He also added that the content was used to harass people online.

In response, the official X security account announced a geo-block in countries where such material is illegal. At the same time, restrictions were announced on generating sexualized images of real people. Still, a CBS News investigation found that the platform still allowed users to digitally “undress” real people using Grok.

The European Union also launched its own investigation. The European Commission said it was investigating whether X had violated the provisions of the Digital Services Act, in particular in the context of the risk of disseminating illegal content, such as manipulated images of a sexual nature.

Stars leave the X platform

The growing controversy causes more stars to give up their presence on Elon Musk’s platform. Lili Reinhart revealed the behind-the-scenes of her decision to leave X, describing the brutal messages she received after revealing her political views.

The 29-year-old actress spoke about her experiences on January 27 in a story on InstaStories, sharing an entry criticizing the Grok chatbot for enabling digital photo manipulation in a way that sexualizes and humiliates the people depicted. Reinhart is not the only one, since Elon Musk took over Twitter in October 2022, many famous artists have left the platform, including: Gigi Hadid.
