Świątek’s great start in the WTA Finals. The rival had nothing to say

Iga Świątek

On Friday, November 1, Iga Świątek started competing in the WTA Finals tournament. The Polish competitor did not give her opponent the slightest chance.

Iga Świątek faced American Madison Keys in her first WTA Finals match. The runner-up in the WTA rankings showed that it is not a coincidence that she occupies this place. After winning in Cincinnati and Seoul, she was counting on a good performance in the next tournament, and she confirmed her good form with Friday’s match.

The Polish player dominated her rival and was already leading 5-0 in games. Only at the end did she allow her opponent to score a few points and win the game. However, the first set ended very quickly, after only 23 minutes of competition.

The second set started with mutual breaks, but the Pole quickly showed her dominance again and eventually won without any major problems, losing only two sets. She ended the match with a score of 6:1, 6:2 and will face Amanda Anisimova in the next group match.
