Summer camps in the Polish mountains for less than PLN 900. Last places left
Tatra National Park is organizing a summer camp for children aged 7-11. The rich program includes themed trips and a trip to Kasprowy Wierch. There are only a few places left for two sessions.
The holidays are a time of true siege of the Tatra trails. As every year, in nice weather, it is difficult to find a place in the car parks around Morskie Oko, both on the Polish and Slovak sides. This is also a time when parents can encourage their children to spend an active holiday in the Tatras.
For the fifth time, the Tatra National Park reached out to younger “Tatra maniacs” and organized various thematic attractions in the form of a summer camp.
Tatra Truancy. Activities in TPN for children
TPN invites young explorers to the “Tatra Truancy” classes. “This year, for the fifth time, we invite children aged 7-11 to unforgettable weeks full of trips to the Tatras, educational workshops, field games and fun. This year’s Truancy will be dedicated to Tatra animals!” – we read on the park’s website.

Classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and care is provided from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The cost is PLN 850 per week, and for holders of the Large Family Card PLN 750 per week. In addition to trips and workshops, the price includes, among other things, dinners, a bonfire, a cable car ride to Kasprowy Wierch, personal accident insurance and entry tickets to attractions.
Day camps for children following the trail of local fauna
During the summer camp, children will be able to learn about local fauna.
“Wednesday will be a day dedicated to birds. We will set off on a trip along the Kalatówki – Ścieżka Nad Reglami – Dolina Białego route. To watch the Tatra birds, we will set off with binoculars and a good ear – as befits true observers and nature lovers. In the afternoon, we will have workshops – a surprise” – this is the plan for one of the days. You can pay for a place at the summer camps online at tpn.gov.pl/wydarzenia-edukacyjne.
In the summer, in addition to the summer camps, TPN also organizes trips for families with children. The cheapest tickets, family (minimum 1 parent and child) cost 7 PLN. For this price, you can go on, for example, a four-hour trip “Kościeliska Valley – Przysłop Miętusi – Dolina Małej Łąki”. This is a good opportunity to spend time together in the mountains under the supervision of an experienced guide.
