Suddenly everyone began to look at the sky. Delightful wavy clouds over Poland
Phenomena appearing in the sky can be delightful. One of these was noticed by the inhabitants of Polish cities. The clouds looked like they came from the painter’s brush.

In the approach of Michał Zimny you can see the clouds forming in regular shapes, they are wavy, and the whole sky seems fluffy like never before.
An unusual view in Polish cities
A beautiful view was recorded in the sky not only in Wrocław, but also in other cities and even other voivodships. Over a thousand reactions appeared in the comments section under the aforementioned post. Some showed their other photographs. One came from Bytom Odrzański in the province. Lubuskie, and another from Wodzisław Śląski, i.e. Upper Silesia, and another from Świebodzin and Bielsko-Biała.
Internet users were delighted with the sky phenomenon. “They were great! I stared into the sky until my neck aculed”, “It was hard to focus on the road so as not to look into the sky”, “it looks like a polystyrene ceiling” – these are just some of many interesting comments. As usual, there were also those who doubted that the photos were true, suggesting that such a phenomenon … does not exist. However, we reassure that this time it is not AI.
Altocumulus Undulatus. What are these clouds?
Altocumulus Undulatus is a medium -level cloud with a characteristic, wavy structure, reminiscent of waves or wrinkles on water. It is also referred to as medium-layer. To be created, there must be several processes in the atmosphere, including A layer of humid air must remain at medium altitude (2-7 km), there must be adequate cooling of air and condensation, or waves and currents must appear in the atmosphere.
“The unusual appearance of the clouds appears from the fact that the air at this height moves waves, like waves on the water. Where the air rises, the water vapor condenses and a cloud is created. Wherever it falls, the cloud” breaks “, and all this causes an even pattern.” – explains one of the Internet users on Facebook. A stable atmosphere, when there are no strong vertical air movements (like storms), there are only delicate oscillations.
