In total, for seven seasons, the basketball player, who is only 29 years old, made 309 appearances in the NBA.

Clarke has been a basketball player for the Memphis club since 2019. Last season, however, he only played in two official matches due to health problems.

However, we are mainly talking about issues related to injuries. The latter, from the end of 2025, did not allow the basketball player to return to the NBA court. Clarke had problems with an injured calf.

– We are heartbroken over the tragic loss of Brandon Clarke. Brandon was a great teammate and an even better person whose impact on the entire club and the Memphis community will never be forgotten. It is worth adding that in his first seasons, Clarke was a valuable player for Memphis. What’s more, as a rookie in the NBA, he hit the so-called top five freshmen.

Unfortunately, the player did not develop his promising career due to injury problems. Additionally, the Canadian had problems with the law in 2026 and was even detained by the police.

The cause of death of the Grizzlies basketball player is unknown.
