It is worth adding that the Japanese won the match on Monday (i.e. July 28) during the WTA 1000 tournament in the Montreal. Osaka in two sets defeated the qualifier from Canada, Ariana Arseneault 6: 4, 6: 2. Ludmiła Samsonowa will be another rival with 27 years old.

Interestingly, Wiktorowski had the opportunity to compete with Osaka at the time of work at the head of Team Świątek. The Polish woman faced a Japanese in a memorable clash during Roland Garros 2024.
