Statistics published by the Office of Electronic Communications show that exactly 370,670 numbers were ported between June 1 and August 31, 2024. Compared to the second quarter of this year, this is an increase of nearly 33,000. Between April and May, subscribers transferred 337,890 numbers to other networks.
Play gains, others lose
101,532 customers switched to Play, while 89,691 people left the network. Orange gained 88,152 subscribers, while losing 90,817.
T-Mobile and Plus recorded a significant decline in this respect. The first network acquired 69,448 numbers and lost 81,009. Plus, the worst performer was Plus, which acquired 62,783 numbers and lost 86,862, which is a decrease of almost 25,000.

In 2024, the number of mobile network subscribers in Poland will be approximately 56 million SIM cards, which means continued growth compared to previous years. Of this number, approximately 38 million are postpaid users and the rest are prepaid users. The mobile telephony segment is constantly growing, and mobile services remain the dominant form of electronic communication in Poland.
