There are still a few weeks left until the start of the Polish volleyball league season, but TAURON Liga clubs have already started preparations. The 2026/2027 season will bring not only a change of the name of the former PlusLiga, but also the return of many stars to the domestic courts.

The biggest transfer hit is Tomasz Fornal’s return. After the performances in Turkey, the Polish representative will play in Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie. – I am happy to return to Poland and that I will be able to play in a club like Zawiercie. Will PGE Projekt Warszawa fight for the Polish championship?

PGE Projekt Warszawa has also undergone major changes. Aleksander Śliwka returns to the capital. The Polish representative signed a two-year contract.

He will fight with Bartosz Gomułka for a place in the starting six of Italy, who showed a very good performance at the end of the previous season, which did not escape the attention of Nikola Grbic. At the beginning of the season, the 24-year-old attacker received a chance to play for the Polish national team. The center will be strengthened by Bartłomiej Lemańskiwho moves to the capital from Bełchatów. The volleyball player joined the national team in the absence of Jakub Kochanowski and Mateusz Bieniek.

Transfer hits of the former PlusLiga before the new season
