Two weeks ago, K0 (KZ) announced that it had partnered with Uncensor VPN. Medium reported that the company and its service (i.e. technology enabling the creation of a secure, encrypted connection) VPN (virtual private network) will be advertised on the channel until the end of 2026.

Soon, Internet users started publishing entries online, including: on the X platform – in which they drew attention to the “suspicious” place of registration of the entity – in Central America. According to Wirtualne Media, it was found that the creator of Uncensor VPN is the same person behind Coincher. In 2022, the logo of the cryptocurrency exchange was on the football uniforms of the club owned by Stanowski – Klub Towarzysko-Sportowy Wełości. At the end of last year, the Ministry of Finance decided to impose an administrative fine of PLN 60,000 on Coincher Europe – under the Act on counteracting money laundering and terrorism financing – the portal recalled.

The creator of VPN and his partner, who dealt with IT businesses, were detained by the police in November 2023 and faced charges, including: regarding “illegal distribution of other people’s works on the Internet in the form of films and series, turning it into a permanent source of income” – reminds Wirtualne Media, which wrote about this matter almost two years ago. The charges were related to the activities of the Watch.to platform (previously known as Zalukaj.tv). It was estimated that the losses caused by websites could amount to millions of zlotys.

Stanowski recently returned to Poland (he was, among others, in Argentina and Buenos Aires). On Wednesday (November 12), he posted on X and commented on the Uncensor VPN case.

He started with accusations about the VPN itself and its effectiveness. “The service works normally, it is a ‘white label’ of a large VPN, which means that the service is at the appropriate level and is technologically verified. The more time passes, the fewer accusations there are about the VPN itself. However, new ones appear – who is behind them,” admitted the journalist.

The founder and owner of KZ emphasizes that “it does not bother him that Uncensor is registered in Panama.” “From what I have found out, no company offering VPN services is registered in Poland, and Panama is quite a natural “base” for this business. However, I am most disturbed by the historical activities of this person, unrelated to VPN. (…) According to my current knowledge, no indictment has ever been drawn up against the VPN owner (so no trial is possible), his passport has been returned, he has no supervision or other preventive measures and has never been convicted of anything. Some the texts that “he can escape from Poland” are an attempt to trick people. According to my knowledge (…) he cannot escape from Poland because he has not lived there for many, many years. However, he comes on holidays,” Stanowski revealed.

The head of Channel Zero admitted that he had met the VPN creator personally, but their acquaintance was “not intimate.” “We’ve probably met four times in our lives,” he pointed out. In the past, the businessman bought shares in the KTS Wesło club. “His share package was so large that he was entitled – like other shareholders – to advertise on a match shirt during one match. This is how the advertisement for his crypto currency exchange office appeared on T-shirts. It was with the crypto segment that I associated him,” he notes.

The journalist decided that there will be no VPN ads in K0 for now, and whether they will come back depends solely on the owner of Uncensor VPN and straightening out matters in the area of ​​public relations. “Let him defend himself, it’s not my role. Maybe he will defend his reputation. If he defends himself, we will return to cooperation, if he does not defend himself, we will not come back. For me, the most important thing today is the safety of the Kanal Zero brand and the comfort of other advertisers,” Stanowski emphasized.
