Something is happening in Poland. “Something is being produced” – Ukrainian weapons already in Poland?
The publicly undisclosed technology is probably already being developed in Poland. These conclusions result from a conversation with the Ukrainian ambassador.
He fidgeted and fidgeted, but finally explained something: – Last Thursday, a letter of intent enabling technology transfer was signed, said Ukrainian Ambassador Vasyl Bodnar when asked in “A Day in the World”. He also suggested that technology not publicly disclosed is probably already being developed in our country.
And we’re talking about drone production.
Drones from Great Britain and Germany
The Ukrainian drone manufacturer Ukrspecsystems announced at the end of 2025 that it would invest £200 million in the production of unmanned systems in the UK. The plan was to establish a factory and testing and training center in East Anglia. Today we know that production lines in Great Britain are already operational. And that’s not all.
In mid-February, the production of Ukrainian drones will also start in Germany. This information was provided by President Volodymyr Zelensky during a conversation with students and lecturers of the Kyiv Aviation Institute, Ukrinform reported. – There will be ten export centers in Europe in 2026. These will be the Baltic countries and Northern European countries, said the president of Ukraine and added: – Currently, we have 450 companies producing drones, of which 40-50 are top-shelf companies.
Training for Polish military personnel in operating drones
Given the information about Ukrainian drones from Great Britain and Germany, the Ukrainian ambassador was asked whether and when similar production will also start in Poland. – Currently, contacts are being prepared at the working level within the appropriate structures, which are to establish the principles of actual cooperation – said Wasyl Bodnar.
These drone and defense issues have been discussed for a long time. – There are working groups dealing with direct exchange of experiences with Ukraine. Ukrainian instructors have already conducted training for Polish military personnel. There are also information exchange channels, including: regarding the situation in the airspace and systems used to counter missiles and drones, so that Poland becomes stronger in defense against these threats, he said.
When asked about the possible date of launching production in Poland, the Ukrainian ambassador admitted that he did not want to make specific declarations. He admitted that there are activities that are simply not communicated publicly. – Something is being produced, but we do not talk about it openly – he said.
