Solorz dismissed from his company. Shuffling in Polsat
Zygmunt Solorz is no longer the chairman of the supervisory board of Cyfrowy Polsat. His place was taken by Daniel Kaczorowski, Andrzej Abramczuk became the president.
On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, Cyfrowy Polsat announced significant personnel changes in its authorities. Zygmunt Solorz was dismissed from the function of chairman of the company’s supervisory board. Daniel Kaczorowski became the new chairman. At the same time, Mirosław Błaszczyk was dismissed from the function of the President of the Management Board, and his position was taken by Andrzej Abramczuk.

According to the official stock market, the decision to change was made by the company’s main shareholder – Tivi Foundation based in Rugell, Liechtenstein. This Foundation, associated with Solor, used its personal rights to appoint and dismiss members of the board and the Supervisory Board of Cyfrowy Polsat.
“The Management Board of Cyfrowy Polsat SA informs that on July 22, 2025, the company’s shareholder – Tivi Foundation (…) dismissed Mirosław Błaszczyk from the position of the President of the Management Board and appointed Andrzej Abramczuk. At the same time he dismissed Zygmunt Solorz from the function of the chairman of the supervisory board and appointed Daniel Kaczorowski,” he was sent in the company.
Change of management
Cyfrowy Polsat is a key company in the Polsat Plus group. Zygmunt Solorz is its main shareholder, having through other entities – including Tivi Foundation – 62 percent. shares that give him over 70 percent. votes at the General Meeting. Despite the formal appeal from the function of the chairman of the Supervisory Board, Solorz still controls the majority package of shares in the company.
Changes in the management of Cyfrowy Polsat may affect the further strategic directions of the group. The change as the president of the management board and the chairman of the supervisory board is a signal of possible reshuffles inside one of the largest media and technical groups in Poland.
