This gadget can save your vacation. Kaufland’s current offer includes foldable solar panels that allow you to use solar energy to charge mobile devices. There are two models to choose from, differing in power and application.
The promotion for Switch On foldable solar panels is valid in Kaufland stores until July 29 or while stocks last.
Prices start from PLN 199
The chain has prepared an offer including two models of Switch On foldable solar panels.
The cheaper version costs PLN 199 and is equipped with three panels. According to Kaufland, the device allows you to charge two devices at the same time.
“Fast, efficient charging of devices in sunlight, for mobile charging of up to 2 devices at the same time,” the network encourages.
The second proposition is a larger model with a power of 100 W, the price of which is PLN 399. When unfolded, the panel has dimensions of 138.5 × 55.5 × 3 cm.
More power for the more demanding
The more expensive variant is equipped with four connected monocrystalline solar cells. The set also includes a two-meter XT60–XT60 cable, thanks to which the panel can be connected to compatible devices or power stations.
The manufacturer emphasizes that the 100 W model will work primarily during:
-
camper trips,
-
camping and camping,
-
stay on the plot,
-
long journeys away from the power socket.
This is a solution for people who need more energy and want to use their own power source in the field.
How to use the panel to make it work more effectively?
Charging efficiency depends primarily on weather conditions and the way the panel is positioned. The best results can be obtained when the device is in full sunlight and not covered by trees, a tent or an umbrella.
In practice, it is also worth changing its position from time to time so that the sun’s rays fall as perpendicularly to the panel surface as possible. A good solution is also to charge the powerbank first and then the phone. This will make mobile devices less likely to heat up when charging in the sun.
