Every year, the Food Market and Trade Forum gathers leaders and decision-makers of the food, trade and HoReCa sectors, producers, distributors, representatives of industry organizations, the world of science and public administration. It is one of the few places where representatives of the entire value chain meet at the same time – from agriculture and processing to retail trade and new technologies.

The inaugural debate “Smart food, food security, strong economy” will open a series of discussions on the role of the food sector as a pillar of the economy and food security. Participants will discuss the competitiveness of Polish companies towards European leaders and the need for deregulation for the development of FMCG.

The 18th edition of the forum will be held on November 17–18, 2025 at the Sheraton Grand Warsaw hotel. Registration lasts until November 14.

Strategies – between security and development

Participants will talk about the role of the food sector in ensuring the stability of the economy and food security of the country. Experts will consider how to strengthen the position of Polish producers on international markets and whether domestic leaders have a chance to become European champions today. Sustainable business models, investments in ESG strategies and market consolidation will also be in the spotlight.

A series of debates on the circular economy, the deposit system, PPWR and ROP are also planned.

Innovations – the strength of the Polish food industry

The second pillar of the forum will be talks about technologies changing the way food is produced and delivered. Participants will look at the impact of automation, digitalization and robotization on company efficiency, discuss the potential of cooperation between science and business, and present examples of implementations that have brought savings and competitive advantages. Discussions will also cover the commercialization of research results and scientific discoveries. Additionally, the issues of leadership and change management in the FMCG sector will be discussed.

AI in the factory and in the backroom of trade – a new era of efficiency

Artificial intelligence, process automation and sales channel integration are the topics that will dominate the debate on the future of trade in 2025. Experts will show how AI supports production, logistics, demand forecasting and customer communication, as well as how it changes marketing strategies and purchasing models. Discussions will also cover the new generation of e-commerce – from omnichannel to live commerce – and the competencies of the future that will allow people and technologies to interact in one intelligent business ecosystem.

Consumers in the age of algorithms

Forum participants will also look at changes in consumer attitudes and values ​​- from the need for healthy food and transparent labels to the expectation of personalization and convenience. Megatrends that will define the food market by 2030 will be discussed.

The 18th Food Market and Trade Forum once again attracts names that define the future of the industry. The participants confirmed their participation, among others, managers of the largest food and retail concerns, representatives of public institutions and experts whose decisions and opinions have a real impact on the shape of the food & retail sector in Poland.

Traditionally, the forum will also include the Food & Retail Awards Gala and the finale of the Dobry Produkt 2025 competition.
