Sławomir Mentzen detained at the London airport. “I sat there without any explanation.”

Sławomir Mentzen

Sławomir Mentzen flew to London with his wife and children. The Confederation politician was detained at the airport and reported the entire situation on Facebook.

Sławomir Mentzen announced that he was detained at the London airport today. He estimated that it was because “the British were afraid that he would speak at some political meeting to which he was not even going.” “This failing state has no problem with being colonized by Indians and Arabs, but it has a problem with the fact that I might want to say something to someone here,” the Confederation politician wrote on Facebook.

Mentzen detained at London airport. “It became grotesque”

Mentzen further informed that on Friday morning he flew with his wife and children to London, where they planned to spend the weekend. “When we were going through passport control, I was detained for an explanation. They assured me that it would be a short time. And indeed, for all the other detainees, it was a short time. I found myself without any information in a room with newcomers from the Middle East. Every few minutes an officer came to one of them, explained some problems, asked what they were doing in Iran and Afghanistan, and then they went somewhere together. And I sat there without any explanations” – the politician reported.

He added that after an hour an officer came to him and asked if he knew what was going on and if he had been in such a situation before. “I replied no. He said he didn’t know what the problem was either. At this point it became grotesque. After a while he added that some organization (the officer said he didn’t know which one) had marked me and they had to stop me now. He also said that he sent an email to find out what to do next. Because he doesn’t know what the problem is or even who has a problem with me,” we read.

“After another hour, I was asked to answer a few questions from this mysterious organization. They asked why I came here, where I was staying overnight, what I was going to do. The officer asked if I intended to participate in any events and speak at them. She looked incredulous when I replied that I was not. I simply flew in privately with my family for the weekend. I was not surprised that they were interested in my views. After all, Rafał Ziemkiewicz and Rafał Ziemkiewicz had problems with entry a few years ago. Janusz Korwin-Mikke” – he wrote further.

Mentzen thunders about “preventive political censorship.” “Britain is a totalitarian state”

In a lengthy post, Sławomir Mentzen said that his passport was returned to him after three hours. “Without any explanation as to who and why they didn’t want me to enter Great Britain. They wasted my day with my family in London and I didn’t even find out what was going on. Great Britain is a totalitarian state. Probably, if I was planning a public meeting, they wouldn’t let me in. Someone decided that I should be denied entry to the country as a preventive measure, because I might say something that shouldn’t be said here. They have preventive political censorship here. But only certain views are censored,” he wrote.

“Each country should, of course, have the freedom to decide who it wants to host. I don’t want immigrants from wild countries in Poland, I don’t want murderers and rapists. The British don’t want people with my views. If I just sailed here on a pontoon with some Africans, I wouldn’t have a problem getting to Great Britain. Illegal immigrants, criminals and basically anyone who wants to are welcome here. That’s fine for them. What’s not OK is a politician. from Poland, who wanted to spend the weekend with his family in London. Because he would accidentally say something to someone, there is no place for this in Great Britain. – he concluded.
