Single companies with problems. For many, the last year turned out to be fatal

The latest data of the Ministry of Development and Technology indicate that in the first quarter of this year the number of applications for closing sole proprietorship (JDG) fell by 1.6 percent. relative to the same period last year. Another sad data on JDG is provided by the National Debt Register (KRD). It turns out that their debt has increased over half a billion zlotys over the past year and currently exceeds PLN 5.5 billion.

More and more JDGs with debts

The KRD data shows that 162.7 thousand have problems with paying liabilities. companies (a year ago 160.3 thousand). The most serious problems are struggling with those operating in wholesale and retail trade (they are responsible for over a quarter of the debt – PLN 1.44 million). Transport and construction companies (PLN 930 and 853.6 million, respectively) have a lot of arrears.

The number of invoices that were not paid on time, which were registered in the KRD, increased by 98 thousand, reaching 758 thousand. By 2.6 thousand PLN also increased by average debt, which already reaches 34 thousand. zloty.

KRD reports that JDGs have the most unpaid obligations towards securitization funds, which means that the financial institutions in which the owners of the smallest companies in debt were not able to enforce payment from them (a total of PLN 2.6 billion) and sold them to funds. Banks, factoring, leasing, loan and insurance companies are also waiting for a refund from JDGs. Here, the amount of arrears reaches a total of almost PLN 1.6 billion.

Among the indebted JDGs, those from the Masovian Voivodeship dominate. 26 thousand are located there. companies that have almost PLN 986.5 million to donate. Silesia with arrears in the amount of PLN 707 million, which breaks down into 20.5 thousand. entities. The infamous podium closes Greater Poland, where debts have 16.7 thousand. enterprises, and their total amount is less than PLN 600 million.

Almost PLN 500 million at contractors

KRD points out that one -man companies are not only debtors, but also creditors. Contractors owe them PLN 485.5 million, of which PLN 154 million, i.e. nearly a third of the whole sum, are invoices not paid by construction companies. Industrial and commercial enterprises (PLN 86.7 and 82.2 million, respectively) have significant arrears.
