Should the state make it easier to buy a flat? Poles have no doubts
Slightly more than half of Poles believe that the state should support citizens in purchasing their own apartments and building houses – according to a CBOS survey.
From the results of the CBOS survey published on Monday, we learn that just over half of Poles (51%) believe that the state should support citizens in purchasing their own apartments and building houses. Significantly less, 22 percent. respondents are in favor of supporting municipal construction for less wealthy people (22%) and social construction – rental, rental and cooperative housing (20%). 8 percent respondents have no opinion on this subject.
Poles expect state support in purchasing apartments
The survey participants were also asked who should be responsible for meeting the housing needs of citizens. Opinions on this matter are divided. 34 percent respondents were indicated by the state. However, slightly less, 29 percent. respondents believe that this obligation should be shared between both parties. 4 percent respondents have no opinion on this matter.
Preliminary data from BIG DATA RynekPierwotny.pl show that average apartment prices showed slight declines in October. Only in two cities prices went up. This concerns Kraków and Poznań, where 1 percent the average square meter of apartments offered by developers increased.
– In both cases, it was the result of introducing expensive apartments for sale. For example, in Krakow their average price per square meter was PLN 18,500. PLN, and in Poznań – PLN 16,000. zloty. As a result, the average for all premises on offer was PLN 16.7 thousand at the end of October. In other large cities, developers focused mainly on cheaper apartments. As a result, the average price per square meter of available premises decreased by 1%. in Tricity, reaching just under 17,000. PLN/sq m, and in Wrocław – up to approximately PLN 15.2 thousand. PLN/sq m
The study was conducted on a representative group of 917 people, which allows conclusions to be drawn regarding Poles’ preferences regarding housing policy.
