Alexander Stoeckl resigned from the function of sports ski jumping director in the Polish Ski Association.
The Austrian ski jumper and a well -deserved trainer informed the Norwegian Dagbladet daily, issuing a special statement.
What exactly happened? When familiarizing with the words of Stoeckel, it seems that the words of the president of the Polish Ski Association, Adam Małysz were decisive. The legend of global jumps in TVP Sport openly criticized the work of a man she had in her ranks in the ski federation.

Interestingly, Stoeckl said in a statement that he had a completely different impression after the meetings and conversations with Małysz. Apparently they were arguing with what reached the Austrian after an interview with PZN president for TVP Sport.
“I sometimes witnessed internal discussions, after which the media was informed without previous conversations with the involved people. It is about the last incident with live interview on TVP, in which the president said that he was not satisfied with my work. I do not remember that he shared such an opinion with me (…) Two weeks ago we had an hour meeting at which he did not raise such a topic or word. I tried to contact him after a television interview, sending several text messages in various communication channels, but I did not receive an answer. So I decided to send an e-mail to draw his attention. The next day he gave another interview, in which he remembered fragments of my messages and stated that in the past he made it clear that he had some concerns about me. He never mentioned a word about the lack of reaction on my part (for example in the case of Slovenes) when it comes to disqualifications or that I am too close to the team. I appreciate his opinion, thanks to her I can improve my work, but it must happen face to face, “we read in fragments of Stoeckl’s statement.
Therefore, there was a lot of grinding, which resulted in the separation of the Austrian from PZN. We would like to remind you that the coach of the Polish ski jumper team is Rodak Stoeckla – Thomas Thurnbichler.
The whole situation will certainly be widely affected not only in the Polish environment, but in the world, looking at ski jumping.
