The police investigate the poison in the park

In an interview with TVN Warsaw, the situation was commented on by Oskar Białozierski from the “Elwet” veterinary clinic. As he said, the owners of the quadrupeds began to report there on Saturday, March 1 in the afternoon. In total, it was a dozen or so animals.

– They began to worry about the behavior of their pets – they had muscle tremors, they were stimulated and apathetic. All those cases that came to us were connected by the fact that the symptoms occurred after a walk in the park at the Mausoleum of Red Army soldiers – he said.

– Over time, these symptoms developed into neurological symptoms: swimming movements, no coordination, back tool. The animals were directed to hospital care, because only in such conditions it is possible to help them – he explained.

From TVN Warszawa information it appeared that the vets at least until Monday noon managed to save all dogs that went to the clinic. However, the symptoms remained for a long time. Waiting for the results of toxicological tests is underway.

The police have already dealt with the matter. – The dog went to a veterinary clinic with symptoms of acute poisoning – said asp. pcs. Marta Haberska from the Warsaw Police District Headquarters.

– The reporter gave us a substance she found in the place where he walked with the dog. The substance has been secured. The subject of our research will be what a substance is and who could leave it – she informed.

Wrocław. The sausage was packed with nails

Meanwhile, in Wroclaw, someone scattered pieces of sausage with nails by the road. On Thursday, February 27, in the evening one of the dogs was caught for such a trap. His owner quickly delivered a quadruped to the veterinary clinic.

– Fortunately, this was removed by gastroscopy, i.e. putting the endoscope through the mouth in the stomach and thanks to the optics locate these nails.
