The military prosecutor’s office is conducting an investigation against an officer who allegedly used violence against cadets for many months.
The proceedings are conducted by the Military Affairs Department of the Wrocław-Fabryczna District Prosecutor’s Office. Investigators are investigating the case for violating the physical integrity of subordinates as well as humiliating and insulting them. Such acts are punishable by up to two years in prison.

According to “Gazeta Wyborcza”, according to the prosecutor’s office, the officer allegedly committed violence against 22 cadets. Each of the allegations concerns a different person.
Investigators indicate that one of the punishments was to hit the cadets on the neck with an open hand. The reason was alleged violations of uniform regulations. The prosecutor’s office considers such behavior not only a violation of bodily integrity, but also a form of humiliation of young soldiers. The events were to take place from June 2023 to October 2024.

Importantly, the investigation was not initiated after the notification submitted by the cadets. The materials in the case were to be collected by the Military Police during their own official duties.
Earlier, “Rzeczpospolita” described that some students might have given up on military studies because of the atmosphere in the unit. There were also reports of a recording in which an officer allegedly publicly humiliated one of the young soldiers.
AWL officer removed and suspended. He pleads not guilty
The suspected officer has already been questioned. He pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and refused to provide explanations.
The authorities of the Land Forces Academy announced that after receiving information about possible irregularities, the officer was removed from classes with students and suspended from his official duties. In parallel to the criminal investigation, disciplinary proceedings against the military officer are also ongoing.
