Scientific and academic computer network – the National Research Institute warned Poles of serious danger. It is about the presidential election 2025.

The first round of presidential elections will take place in a few days – May 18. The premises will be open from morning to evening. The survey, which was conducted by the IBRIS market and social research Institute for Polish Radio 24, shows that up to 60 percent of persons entitled to vote (attendance) intends to fulfill their civic obligations.

As it turns out, foreign states want to mix up in the elections. NASK performed the warning in this matter.

A disturbing NASK message. “Possible attempt to interfere”

NASK “identified political ads on the Facebook platform, which can be financed from abroad.” A warning has been published, from which we can learn about “materials displayed in Poland”. “Advertising accounts involved in the campaign in the last seven days have spent more on political materials than any election committee,” informs the disinformation analysis center.

“The actions were supposed to seem to support one of the candidates and discredit others. The campaigns implemented by advertising accounts concerned (the candidate of the Civic Platform, the President of Warsaw – ed.) Rafał Trzaskowski, (his competitor from the opposition, which is supported by Law and Justice, head of the Institute of National Remembrance) Karol Nawrocki and (leader of the Confederation, MP) Sławomir Mentzen. A possible provocation.

NASK appealed to network users. “Attention”

NASK decided to report the case directly to the American company Meta, which owns, among others, Facebook or Instagram. Service was also notified of everything – specifically the Internal Security Agency. “Activities are carried out related to establishing sources of origin and financing of the campaign,” said NASK in a statement.

The experts finally appealed to Internet users – about their “special attention and reporting to NASK ads appearing on social networks, which are not signed by the election committees of registered candidates.”
