Iga Świątek recently triumphed during Wimbledon, and continued her winning run during the competition in Montreal. In the fourth round, the Polish woman faced Clara Tauson. Interestingly, both tennis players competed recently – during Wimbledon, also in the fourth round. Then Iga Świątek triumphed 6: 4, 6: 1. Therefore, Polish fans approached the meeting with great hopes that their favorite would be able to repeat the success from a week ago and dominate the rival.
