Senior voucher on the government’s priority list. Who will get PLN 2150?
Among the priorities announced on Friday by the government is the introduction of a senior voucher. The benefit is to be introduced next year.
The minister for supervision over the implementation of government policy Maciej Berek presented 58 priorities on Friday, which the Council of Ministers is working on. There was a senior voucher among them. This is to be support in the form of care for a senior aged 75 plus at his place of residence and in a situation where loved ones cannot take care of him. The voucher will not be paid in the form of cash.
Senior voucher. What conditions must be met?
As Money.pl reminds, the bonus application may submit a descendant senior (child, grandson, great -grandson) who proves that he remains professionally active. To receive a senior voucher, the senior family will have to meet certain criteria:

Senior income cannot exceed PLN 3,410 gross per month,

The income of loved ones may not exceed twice the minimum wage (one -man farm), or three times the minimum salary (multi -person farm).
The above thresholds will be verified every year to adapt them to changing economic conditions.
The maximum value of such a voucher will be PLN 2,150 per month (60 hours of care per month). The number of hours of care at which the voucher is entitled to depend on the point assessment, which takes into account the financial and family situation of the senior.
The portal reminds that the income criterion includes a nursing allowance that everyone over 75 receives.
The senior voucher is to allow you to cover services including Help in daily activities (e.g. cleaning, shopping, personal hygiene), support in preparing and eating meals, or support in making medical visits and dealing with official matters.
Importantly, the senior voucher will be possible to lose if it is used contrary to the purpose (e.g. sold or transferred to an unauthorized person), but also if false information is presented in the application, tear when the financial situation of the senior is changed (the income will exceed the agreed income criterion).
The senior voucher is to enter into force in 2026. In the following years, the income thresholds are to increase to PLN 3,500 gross (2026), PLN 4,000 (2027), PLN 4,500 (2028) and PLN 5,000 (2029).
