Scandalous behavior of Polish fans in Spain. The police intervened
Lech Poznań and Rayo Vallecano hooligans fought each other on the night from Wednesday to Thursday, November 6, in Madrid. Local police intervened and at least one person was transported to hospital.
On Thursday, November 6, Spanish Rayo Vallecano hosts Lech Poznań. The match between these teams takes place in the group stage of the Conference League. The match was classified as a high-risk match, so additional security forces were deployed in Madrid.
Madrid. Lech’s pseudo-fans had a fight with the Spaniards
Unfortunately, the services’ fears turned out to be justified. The night before the match, groups of hooligans of both teams clashed. The Spanish tabloid “AS” argues that it was Poles who caused the first incidents in the Vallecas district. Numerous recordings of the riots have appeared online, but it is difficult to draw any conclusions based on them.
“Football fights in Madrid! There was a clash between Rayo Vallecano and Lech Poznań hooligans in Vallecas. At least one person was taken to hospital. We have recordings from the scene, armed officers chased the Spaniards around the local housing estates,” Szymon Janczyk from the Wesło portal reported on the X platform.
Hooligan clashes in Madrid. One person in hospital
One of the websites describing hooligan disputes claims that about 360 hooligans took part in the fights in the Spanish capital. “AS” reports that one of the injured men was taken to hospital.
Let’s hope that the Conference League match will be played without such incidents. The match is scheduled to start at 9:00 p.m. So far in the competition, Rayo has had one win and one draw, while Lech has won and lost.
