In the immediate vicinity it is worth visiting the Zoodochos Pigi monastery and the villages of Pefkochori and Hanioti.

If you want to go on a trip to Thessaloniki, the journey by car will take about 1.5 hours. There are also regular buses that are a convenient option for tourists.
