Samsung supports art even more – it established cooperation with the Art Basel Fair

Samsung has become the first official partner of the Art Basel Miami Beach fair in Florida, at which works of art in digital form are presented. This is the next step of the manufacturer towards more and more strongly supporting the world of culture and art. In the manufacturer’s store – Samsung Art Store you can choose works of art and present them on TVs as if they were in our spaces with full -fledged images.

Subscribers of the Samsung Art Store from December 2024 had access to a selected collection of over 15 selected works from Galeria Art Basel. This collection included contemporary works from international galleries, including the works of James Cohan, Kasmina, Monique Meloche, the duo Alex Mor and Philippe Charpentier, Nars Roesler, Roberts Projects and Tiny Kim. The store has been enriched with such paintings as: “Irwina Garden” (“Irwin’s Garden”) Freda Tomaselli, or “mostly cloudless” (“Mostly Clear”) Candida Alvarez.

Art Basel Miami Beach is the leading world fair of North and South America with great cultural importance. Organized for the first time in 1970 by the Marshal of Basel, they are considered the world’s most important modern and contemporary art fair. Last year, the fair was visited by 286 leading international galleries from 38 countries to present prestigious works in all forms – from painting and sculptures to photography and digital works.

Masterpieces on five types of TVs

As reported at CES 2025, works from the Samsung Art Store platform will not only go to The Frame, but also Micro LED, Neo Qled and QLED. In addition, they will appear on The Frame Pro TV sets, which are the latest model from The Frame, presented at the last CES 2025 fair. The new collection of masterpieces with Art Basel Miami Beach will be made available to The Frame TV users once a quarter.
