Ryanair

We already know the details of Ryanair’s winter route network from Wrocław. The proposals will include as many as six new directions.

Ryanair announces new routes in additional Polish cities. After Katowice, it’s time for Wrocław, from which the Irish carrier will fly to as many as 38 destinations this winter. There will be no shortage of news – the airline’s press office announced the launch of as many as six new connections. The list includes both European capitals and seaside resorts. However, residents of Lower Silesia will have to wait for the first flights – the airport in Strachowice will be closed for renovation until December 4, 2025.

Ryanair has new flights from Wrocław

This winter, Ryanair will have as many as seven planes based in Wrocław. This will allow for 38 connections, including six new ones – flights to Newcastle, London Luton, Seville, Pescara, Lamezia Terme and Athens. Tickets are now available on the carrier’s website at promotional prices from PLN 119 one way. “An even larger number of aircraft at the Wrocław base will make the offer available to travelers in the capital of Lower Silesia truly impressive. It is also worth emphasizing that the region will gain new jobs offered by Ryanair – both for aircraft crews and employees of the service center operating at the Wrocław airport,” says Karol Przywara, President of the Wrocław Airport Management Board.

The airport will be closed

This year, however, the winter flight season will start later than usual in Wrocław. All because of the announced forty-day closure of the airport due to the need to renovate the take-off and landing zone. During this time, Wrocław residents will have to use other airports located nearby – tourists can reach the port in Pyrzowice in less than two hours by car, and the Krakow airport in Balice – in less than three hours.
