Rome pearl open after renovation. Views will delight tourists

Every tourist who returned from Rome knows that you can go back there at least several times, and there will be plenty of beautiful places to discover. Now another has joined the list. You can make a rest stop before further sightseeing.

A cafe near the Colosseum

At the end of April, the renewed residence of Casina del Salvi was solemnly opened in the Eternal City. Its original function was restored – a cafe and a study room. Casina del Salvi is a neo -Renaissance building in the Celio Archaeological Park, near the Colosseum. Opening it for the audience is part of the project called the new archaeological walk, which is to combine important places of ancient Rome. Conservation works were carried out by the Capital Board.

In Casina del Salvi there are places on the outer terrace and a free learning room equipped with Wi-Fi. Guests can admire the wonderful views of the Colosseum and Palatin Hill. Tourists, however, do not have to pretend to be a student with a book, because the intention of the project is availability, also for guests. The study room on the upper floor is open every day from 9:00 to 19:00, the coffee bar works at the same hours.

Celio Park, Zielony Zakątek

Celio Park is located at the northwestern end of the hill of the same name, more or less between Circus Maximus (the oldest circus of ancient Rome) and the Colosseum.

Casina del Salvi was built in 1835 on the order of Pope Gregory XVI. It was designed by architect Gaspare Salvi, who was inspired by the neoclassical building of Casina Valadier on the Pincio hill.

Time will tell if for students who need a moment of focus will not be too crowded here. This is how the fate met in the very center of Krakow Metrum – Restobistro, which thanks to the views attracted real crowds. Access to external guests was therefore limited. Currently, only students and employees of the Music Academy can dine here.
