Robert Lewandowski’s investment is gaining momentum. There is a building permit

The developer PROFBUD announced the official start of construction of the City of Polish Olympic Champions. The first stage of the investment, whose business partner is Robert Lewandowski, has obtained a valid building permit.

The construction of the City of Polish Olympic Champions will begin with the implementation of the first stage, i.e. the first building of the “Paris” district, which will include the construction of 285 residential premises arranged on 6 floors.

The entire district will be characterized by harmonious Parisian-style buildings and a “green canyon” – a recreational space filled with vegetation, inspired by the atmosphere of French boulevards, evoking the atmosphere of the Champs-Élysées – informs the developer.

Robert Lewandowski’s investment. When will the work be completed?

Completion of the first stage of construction is scheduled for the last quarter of 2026. The investment is located in the Lesznowola commune, approximately 2 km from the Kabacki Forest.

We are glad that thanks to the valid building permit, we can start the implementation of the first stage – this is a breakthrough moment and proof that the project is heading towards successful implementation. For many years I have dreamed of creating a place where sport, education and Olympic values are an integral part of life. Children and young people from the entire Lesznowola commune will be able to develop their passions there – in a safe space that will develop them physically and mentally. The Sports Center we propose is unique in the country, and in terms of the number of tennis and padel courts, one of the largest in Europe – says Paweł Malinowski, President of the PROFBUD Group.

The project arouses interest due to its mission to honor Polish champions by creating a unique place to live in which – as the developer emphasizes – “Olympic values permeate every aspect of everyday life.”

This is where the Avenue of Sports Champions would be built, with the hands of Polish Olympians imprinted in brass, celebrating the triumphs of Polish athletes. Additionally, in the project concept, the key point of the city is the symbolic “Olympic mile” – a route almost two kilometers long, wrapping around the investment like a ribbon. Treated not only as a running track or place of recreation, but also an educational journey through the history of the Olympics – emphasizes PROFBUD.

The developer indicates that the investment itself and the accompanying expansion of local infrastructure would be a response to the challenges of the Lesznowola commune community. One of them is to eliminate existing communication nuisances. There are plans to build and expand a road system that goes much beyond the scope of the investment itself. The developer wants to connect the City of Polish Olympic Champions with the S7 route, which is to provide better access to the expressway system. It also plans additional public transport facilities. The idea is to “introduce efficient and comfortable bus transport – unique in Poland, because it is autonomous, which would connect the investment with the PKP Warszawa Jeziorki railway station.” It is also planned to implement a carsharing program.

The idea of the City of Polish Olympic Champions was announced on October 7 last year. Robert Lewandowski, the business partner of the investment, appeared there, as well as many other outstanding athletes, such as: Otylia Jędrzejczak, Bartosz Zmarzlik, Tomasz Majewski, and Paweł Nastula. During the event, in addition to presenting the idea of the City of Polish Olympic Champions, an important point was the symbolic handing over of the keys to the gold and silver medalists from Paris – Aleksandra Mirosław, Julia Szeremeta, Klaudia Zwolińska, and Daria Pikulik.
