Robert Lewandowski with an offer from a giant! Polish fans can now rub their hands

Robert Lewandowski

More and more away from FC Barcelona and closer to Serie A. This is the reality of Robert Lewandowski’s last dozen or so hours. Where will the Pole ultimately play?

There are new media reports, from increasingly serious sources, regarding Robert Lewandowski’s club future. The Pole’s contract, which expires in June 2026, is a tasty morsel on the transfer market.

As reported in recent hours, FC Barcelona seems to no longer be the priority of “Lewy’s” entourage. The Catalan giant did not behave towards the Pole as expected. Apparently, Barca has a different idea for its offensive future.

Robert Lewandowski in Juventus? The Pole has one more offer on the table

Juventus’ approach is completely different. At the end of March this year, we informed that a representative of the Turin giant appeared at the PGE National Stadium and wanted to see Lewandowski in action. He scored quite well, as the Pole led the national team to victory over Albania (2:1) in the semi-finals of the 2026 World Cup play-offs.

Although the Poles ultimately did not go to the World Cup, “Lewy” seems to be getting closer to moving to the Italian Peninsula. Interestingly, initially there was much more talk about the possibility of AC Milan bringing the Pole to Italy. However, the Milan club has recently slowed down in terms of interest in RL9.

Juventus seems to be much more motivated and needs a striker. According to Nicolo Schira, a valued Italian journalist on transfer topics, there will be a meeting between Lewandowski and Juve’s representatives in the coming days. The Italian club would like to offer the Pole a contract for the 2026/27 season with earnings of EUR 6 million. Which seems to be a tempting proposition at this stage of his career for the captain of the Polish national team. Let us add that Juventus is on the right track to advancing to the Champions League, which is also important for the Pole.

However, the capital of Piedmont is not the only destination on the table for Lewandowski. Representatives of one of the MLS clubs are putting a lot of pressure on the Pole’s transfer. In this case, RL9 would receive a contract even one year longer than in Turin. We are most likely talking about Chicago Fire, a club that has already shown great interest in bringing in the Pole.

The reports coming from various parts of the world lack optimism regarding the extension of “Lewy’s” contract with Barca. That is, something that not so long ago – even from President Joan Laporta – sounded positive.

Moreover, it may happen that apart from Lewandowski, Wojciech Szczęsny will also leave the club from the capital of Catalonia. In his case, however, it would most likely be the second, but definitive, end of his professional career.

The unanswered question remains whether Szczęsny advised Lewandowski at all in the context of Juventus. The Polish goalkeeper was a player of the Old Lady for many years, but he had a farewell… the worst possible farewell, considering the surprising “firing” of Szczęsny – due to the new coach’s different vision of the team. Let us add that in Turin they ultimately regretted this step, and the mentioned coach has not been in Juventus for a long time.
