Robert Lewandowski strongly responded to criticism. “Not everyone must like me”

However, this was not enough to be public. Lewandowski’s head fell on a large critic. There was even doubt or the captain’s headband still “left”, looking at how important the match will leave RL9.

Poles, apart from a friendly match against Moldova, will play away with Finland. It will be a meeting as part of the elimination of the 2026 World Championships.

Lewandowski’s reaction? I must admit, extremely honest.

– Sometimes you need to know that these decisions are hard. I am not saying that I always make perfect decisions, that I do not make mistakes. I make mistakes, I am a human, but I am often probably assessed as, as I said, the product, not as a man (…) In fact, the injury disturbed it all to me, I say, not only the physical aspect, but also mental was important here and hence the decision. I know that not everyone has to agree with my decision. I also do not assume that everyone must like me, but I think that this respect should be. And whether I make a decision, you can agree and not, but this respect should always be at the end – he said in an interview for TVP Sport.

It seems that all the confusion around Lewandowski’s decision seems to be exaggerated. The footballer in August will be 37 years old, having a lot of minutes played for the Duma of Catalonia in the club season. What’s more, at the end of the campaign, the footballer suffered an injury, which excluded him from a large part of the finish of the competition.

In addition, Lewandowski once again emphasized that he wanted to surprise Kamil Grosicki, taking part in his unique farewell to the fans. This information, i.e. the appearance of the captain, regardless of the lack of appointment, came to the Polish media on Friday morning.
