I do not know her course, so I do not want to comment on her (…) After the resignation of coach Probierz, I talked to him. I managed to talk to Robert (…) I will not talk about it. We agreed that I would not pass their content further – said the president of the Polish Football Association in an interview with WP/SportoweFakty.

Difficult elections of Cezary Kulesza. The fifth Poles selector
Cezary Kulesza is the president of the Polish Football Association since August 2021. Earlier, in 2016-21 he was the Vice President of the Federation for Professional Football.
Kulesza during his term of office of the President of PZPN has already chosen the new selector of the Polish Senior National Team several times. It began with a turbulent parting with Paulo Sousa, a Portuguese employed by the predecessor of Kulesza, Zbigniew Boniek. The Portuguese coach went to the Brazilian league, and in his place the head of the PZPN placed on Czesław Michniewicz.
After the World Cup in 2022 and the so -called PZPN bonus scandal did not decide to extend the contract with the coach. Michniewicz was then converted into Fernando Santos. The European champion from 2016 with the Portuguese team turned out to be … on the other side of the river, achieving compromisingly poor results with the Polish national team. This meant that the head of the PZPN made another castle, putting in September 2023 on Michał Probierz – well known, among others from the time of work in Jagiellonia Białystok.
As it turned out, the summer of 2025 brought another, fourth change as a coach of the Polish team. Who will Kulesza choose this time? One thing is certain, the president of PZPN himself has no competitors in the country in the context of the next term as the head of the federation. The opposition was to put up its candidate, among others About Andrzej Padewski, Wojciech Cygania and Paweł Wojtali. However, it stood on nothing.
