During the press conference of the Polish national team on Tuesday (September 22), an important question was asked about the condition of children and young people. What does Robert Lewandowski say about this?

The captain of the Polish national team and goalkeeping coach Andrzej Dawidzuk were present at the first meeting with journalists during the September-October training camp. The press conference ended with an interesting question. The topic was related to the alarming data on the condition of children and young people in Poland.

Robert Lewandowski on the situation in Poland. It was about children and young people

And that’s when Robert Lewandowski was called to the board. The captain listened attentively to the words of Łukasz Wiśniowski, who was the author of the conversation with prof. Ph.D. Bartosz Molik. It results from, among others: that 94% of children in Poland aged 6–12 do not have basic motor skills.

The situation is really serious and it seems that we need to sound the alarm. Lewandowski did not hide the fact that he was shocked by the data that appeared at the end of the meeting with journalists.

– I’m shocked, it looks terrible – admitted Lewandowski, adding: – It’s not about professional sport, it’s about how we want to feel later. In my opinion, some enormous reform would be needed. Probably what starts at school. Parents can help and support their children to move as much as possible. Such sport is health and I am talking about it here in an amateur context. This also affects our attitude. How we think, we behave. How our head works faster and easier. And yet it looks dramatic, said the captain of the football team.

When will the Polish national football team play their matches? Where to watch?

What awaits the Polish national team in the near future under coach Urban? First of all, competition in the B division in the previously mentioned Nations League. Poland will start with a match against Bosnia and Herzegovina (September 25, Warsaw). Then a trip to Sweden (September 28, Solna), back to Poland and a clash with Romania (October 2, Warsaw) and at the end of the four-match marathon, another match against BiH – this time as visitors (October 5, Zenica).
