The popular health resort in the Beskids will undergo a great metamorphosis. The city announced the construction of several new facilities, including the long-awaited sky bike. This is an attraction that has never been seen before in Poland, the Czech Republic or Slovakia. “A bicycle set in motion by the power of its own muscles will move at a height of several meters. While traveling along the long route, you will be able to admire the surroundings from a different perspective. Of course, each participant of the trip will be properly secured,” explains the mayor of Muszyna, Jan Golba, quoted by Gazeta Wyborcza.

For a sky bike trip

Just recently, we wrote in “Wprost” about a new aerial bicycle route in Croatia. It looks like we will soon see a similar attraction in Poland. Already last year, the mayor of Muszyna asked residents about their opinion on such an investment, which at that time was only a vague plan. “It is a tourist hit in several European countries. What do you think about such a tourist attraction? – wrote Jan Golba on social media last fall. Positive reactions mean that today we can officially talk about this idea. It was estimated that the cost of building the “sky bike” would be around 2 million. However, the city assumes that the unique facility will attract tourists from all over Poland, as well as the Czech Republic and Slovakia, where it is also difficult to find similar experiences. The structure is to be built in the “Baszta” Family Park on the Szczawnik stream. “This is an attraction for entire families, for people who like to spend time actively and enjoy unusual forms of recreation,” we read.

That’s not all the surprises

However, there will be more new attractions in Muszyna, also for those who prefer slightly more “down-to-earth” forms of entertainment. Work on the construction of the Greek garden is nearing completion, and next year a Chinese garden will also be built. They are all part of the larger park of Sensory and Theme Gardens, the city’s favorite walking areas. It can be expected that new attractions will transport tourists to distant countries. Another zone in the park is to be a wicker garden. However, the start date of its construction remains unknown for now.
