Revolution in transport? Polish companies can win up to 750,000 zloty

Polish companies can count on significant funding for the purchase or leasing of zero -emission trucks.

“From May 30, 2025, entrepreneurs may apply for co -financing from the Program Support for the purchase or leasing of zero -emission vehicles of the N2 and N3 categories with a budget of PLN 2 billion, implemented by the National Health Fund from the NFOŚiGW from the funds of the modernization fund” – informs the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in the post on platform X.

The support program for zero -emission transport has started

The recruitment will last from May 30, 2025 to June 30, 2029. Support can be up to 750 thousand. PLN per company, depending on its size and type of vehicle. This initiative is a key element of the transformation of the heavy transport sector towards zero -emission.

– The investment support program in zero -emission truck is part of the comprehensive offer of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management for the development of zero -emission heavy transport. On March 31, we launched support programs for the development of network infrastructure and charging heavy vehicles. They contribute to the transformation of the Polish transport sector, and thus to improving air quality and an increase in its competitiveness on the international arena. They will also allow the achievement of the goals indicated in the EU AFIR regulation on the development of alternative fuels infrastructure – said Paweł Augustyn, deputy president of the board of the NFOŚiGW.

Zero -emission transport – the amount of funding

“Entrepreneurs may become the beneficiaries of the program. One applicant may submit more than one application for funding. The value of the requested funding by one Applicant together with related enterprises may not exceed 15 % of the budget specified for the recruitment,” informs NFOŚiGW.

Co -financing includes a difference in costs between a traditional internal combustion and zero -emission vehicle, e.g. electric or hydrogen.

– In the case of leasing, it is about support at the initial fee specified by the leasing contract – explains the fund.

The program includes category N2 and N3 vehicles, driven only:

• electricity from external batteries,

• energy from hydrogen fuel cells,

• or an engine that does not cause greenhouse gas emissions.

Zero -emission transport – higher support for smaller companies

The amount of co -financing depends on the size of the company. Large enterprises can get up to 30 percent. eligible costs, average – up to 50 percent, and micro and small – up to 60 percent. Similar rules apply to leasing. Maximum financial support is from 400 thousand. PLN to 750 thousand PLN, and its exact value depends on the type of vehicle and the company category. The program aims not only to reduce emissions in the transport sector, but also to support the competitiveness of Polish companies in the era of green transformation.

Purchase of a zero -emission vehicle:

• up to 30 percent in the case of a large enterprise,

• up to 50 percent in the case of a medium enterprise,

• up to 60 percent in the case of micro -enterprise and a small enterprise,

eligible costs reduced by the cost of a reference investment, no more than:

• 400 thousand PLN for one zero -emission vehicle category N2,

• 750 thousand PLN for one zero -emission vehicle category N3.

Leasing of a zero -emission vehicle:

• up to 30 percent in the case of a large enterprise,

• up to 50 percent in the case of a medium enterprise,

• up to 60 percent in the case of micro -enterprise and a small enterprise,

eligible costs reduced by the cost of a reference investment, no more than:

• 400 thousand PLN for one zero -emission vehicle of the N2 category and no more than the initial fee,

• 750 thousand PLN for one zero -emission vehicle of the N3 category and no more than the initial fee.
