On June 12, Michał Prdyk resigned from the position of the Polish national team coach. – I came to the conclusion that in the current situation the best decision for the good of the national team would be my resignation. Performing the function of a trainer was the fulfillment of my professional dreams and the greatest life honor – he explained.

However, as it turns out, PZPN is inclined to put on a coach from the domestic yard. “Przegląd Sportowy” reported that Cezary Kulesza seriously considers two candidates – Maciej Skorża or Jerzy Brzęczek, whose right hand would be Łukasz Piszczek.
The first one remains, as confirmed by the Secretary General of PZPN. – We are closer to coaches who know our country, players and the specifics of Polish football when it comes to the experience of coach Skorża abroad, the national team, the successes he achieved and the training profile itself is our number one – said Łukasz Wachowski.

When will PZPN choose a new coach?
When asked about the deadline for choosing a new trainer, a representative of the PZPN admitted that It would be optimally done before the election in the PZPN, i.e. until the last day of June.
Currently, Cezary Kulesza is in the United States. The head of PZPN is one of the guests during the World Club Championships.
