New attractions await Warsaw residents on the occasion of the Chopin Competition. Passengers will benefit from, among others: from the musical tram.
On Monday, October 6, a musical tram hit the streets of Warsaw. In a special train moving on a one-way route from Zajezdnia Wola to Skierniewicka, passengers will find a piano and musicians playing works by the most famous Polish composer. The ride is one of the attractions prepared on the occasion of the International Piano Competition. Fryderyk Chopin, which takes place on October 2–23, 2025.

Warsaw residents and tourists visiting the capital from October 6 to 12 can take advantage of the unique attraction prepared on the occasion of the 19th edition. edition of the Chopin Competition.
One of the city’s trams will become a center of musical experiences – inside the vehicle there will be room for a piano on which musicians will play works by a Polish composer. The full route from Zajezdnia Wola to Skierniewicka takes 50 minutes, and along the way the tram will stop at, among others: on Towarowa, al. Zieleniecka, Targowa and Wolska. “Departures from the Wola Depot are scheduled at 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Pianists will play in vehicles departing at 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., while on trips they will take over the microphone at 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Varsavianists” – informs the Office of the Capital City of Warsaw.
Chopin metro train
Warsaw residents can also take advantage of thematic metro rides. From October 6, a train with musical themes can be seen every day until October 23.
There will be another opportunity to decorate the Warsaw metro in winter. Every year at the beginning of December, on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas season, Christmas wagons appear at the underground railway stations, in which you can travel throughout the month.
