Rental market in metropolises

In the vast majority of metropolises, the availability of apartments for rent still exceeds the level from the end of last year. The only exception is Gdańsk, where in May the number of offers fell by 4 %, to 2.4 thousand. premises. The same decrease – also by 4 percent – recorded in Łódź, where 2.7 thousand were available. apartments.

In other cities, the number of offers has increased. 15.4 thousand were waiting for rent in Warsaw. premises (an increase of 3 %), 6.6 thousand were available in Krakow. apartments (2 % more than a month earlier), in Wrocław – 5.5 thousand (also an increase of 2 %), and in Katowice – 2.3 thousand (increase by 5 percent). – The consequence of the shrinking offer of apartments for rent in Gdańsk was the growth of the median monthly rent – notes Marek Wielgo and cites Gethome.pl data, which shows that in May it went up by as much as 5 percent. compared to April (up to PLN 3.1 thousand).
