Who can apply for funding?

Support may be applied for by natural persons who are owners, co-owners or perpetual usufructuaries of real estate on which there is a building intended for residential purposes – both permanent and temporary residence.

The program includes the purchase, assembly, construction, expansion and commissioning of installations for collecting rainwater or meltwater from impermeable surfaces, such as roofs, sidewalks or driveways.

The tank must meet an important condition

One of the key requirements of the program is the capacity of the water storage installation. Tight tanks must have a total capacity of at least 2 cubic meters.

Financing can also be obtained for ground water retention systems, such as absorption wells, drainages, infiltration boxes, open tanks or unsealing of hardened surfaces. The program also includes installations enabling the use of collected water, including pumps, sprinklers and distribution centers.

The investment must already be completed

The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management emphasizes that the program applies only to completed investments. This means that signing the contract is also the settlement of the project.

The subsidy may cover eligible costs incurred from July 1, 2024. At the same time, support cannot be obtained for investments or their elements that have already been financed from provincial funds or the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, for example under the “Moja Woda” program.

Applications for funding should be submitted via the Funding Application Generator. The documents are adopted by the locally appropriate provincial funds for environmental protection and water management.
