Ranking methodology

The ranking was created on the basis of publicly available information on the chain’s websites, regulations and delivery subpages, as well as messages from logistics operators and aggregators (e.g. free delivery conditions, minimum baskets, delivery hours and types, subscription functions, benefit programs). We assessed: convenience and delivery costs, minimum thresholds, innovative features (e.g. subscriptions), loyalty programs and reach. Data was collected and verified for Warsaw and the surrounding area (city + delivery zones) as of November 2, 2025, with an emphasis on primary sources.

TOP 5 – main table

1) Winner – Leclerc Warszawa (9.5/10)

Leclerc Warszawa dominated the ranking thanks to unique solutions that the competition does not offer. The key differentiator is shopping subscription with automatic 5% discount – settings: weekly, every 2 and 3 weeks or monthly. This means that a regular customer saves 5% on each order they activate under the subscription. What are subscription orders? you select products and specify the delivery frequency and then the exact day of the week and delivery time. Orders will be automatically generated on the agreed date and will be delivered to you without your intervention.

• Free delivery over PLN 300 – competitive threshold.

2) Megasam24 (8.2/10)

Megasam24 is a local player specializing exclusively in the Warsaw market, which won second place thanks to the lowest free delivery threshold in Warsaw – from PLN 180. Minimum order is PLN 120, and delivery is made on the day of order in hours 13:00–22:00.

The network stands out:

• transparent delivery cost policy,

• specialization in the Warsaw market (possibility of dedicated local service),

4) Carrefour (7.8/10)

Carrefour takes fourth place thanks to its unique variant no minimum order – you can even order single products. The network offers:

• various forms of delivery: CarFura (home delivery), Sprint (up to 3 hours), Courier, Drive, Click&Collect,

• wide geographical coverage – delivery in 17 Polish cities,

• free delivery CarFura from PLN 299 (in selected locations, including Warsaw),

• access to the offer Click&Collect in selected stores.

Weaknesses: delivery cost to PLN 19.99 for smaller orders, no dedicated purchase subscription program, approximately higher prices than local players.

5) Auchan (Online Shopping) (7.5/10)

Auchan closes the ranking with fifth place, but offers interesting solutions:

• reception in InPost refrigerators in Warsaw – innovative form of delivery,

• own courier fleet ensuring control over the quality of service,

• promotional free delivery thresholds (PLN 200–300depending on the city and selected slot),

Weaknesses: delivery cost PLN 19.90–25, limited range (mainly Warsaw and surrounding areas), no traditional loyalty program.

Why does the winner win?

Subscription with a guaranteed 5% discount This is the only such function in Warsaw e-grocery among large players. We did not find a similar solution in a review of official competitor websites:

• Frisco: benefits program (Friends) without a fixed percentage discount on the entire order,
• Carrefour, Auchan, Megasam24: no dedicated shopping subscriptions.

This solution responds to modern consumer needs:
