PZPN received a gigantic blow. “He lost contact with reality”

Around the Polish Football Association has become really loud in recent weeks. Mainly it is a “merit” of a lot of confusion around the most important football team in the country, i.e. the Polish national team.

Shocking reports on PZPN and a strongly sprinkled reality

From taking away the captain’s band Robert Lewandowski, by giving up the “left” from the game in the squad under the baton of Michał Probierz, finally compromise in the match against Finland (1: 2), until the final resignation from the selector’s work.

Little? It turns out that this is just the beginning. Currently, the most important topic seemed to be the selection of the successor of the selector. However, it seems that PZPN will have another “fire” to turn off.

And this is due to the text that was released today, on Wednesday (i.e. July 2). There are a lot of threads about the everyday life of PZPN during the time of the head of the president of Cezary Kulesza.

Here is a fragment related to … an elimination match (World Championships 2022) with Albania, in March 2023. In the lead role, as we read, the president of Kulesza.

– During the break of this match he was already so drunk that he lost contact with reality and did not go out to the stands. He accosted women, talked to stupidity, patted someone, hung on Daniel Obajtek’s neck and said he loved him. After the match he was led out of the lodge. Vice -presidents told him: “We leave Czarek now, for your good”, and he began to shout: “I don’t leave without Andrzej!” – says one of the witnesses. Then Kulesza was to chant: “Andrzej, Andrzej”.

There was consternation in the lodge. Because then President Andrzej Duda was the main guest of the honorable lodge. So many thought that Kulesza would chant the president. – And he meant Andrzej – one of the PZPN activists. He wanted to take him to the after party. And people were absolutely convinced that it was about Duda – says the witness.

– When Duda appeared in the lodge, he quickly left after his courtesy conversations. I heard that he was outraged by what was happening there – describes another participant in these situations. A few days later, the adviser to the President of the Republic of Poland Piotr Nowacki was to inform informally to PZPN that the situation was so embarrassing that the president would never appear there again.

“Never” lasted about a year.

We asked the Chancellery of the President about these situations. We did not get the answer to any of the questions. Kulesza does not answer either.

A really extensive investigation on Goniec.pl, by Krzysztof Bocz, is a powerful blow to the football federation. It shows a lot of surprising, shocking, moreover – scandalous situations – from the life of PZPN. And this over the last years of operation.

It is worth adding that last Monday (i.e. June 30) President of Kulesza was almost unanimously elected for the next term at the head of PZPN. The “opposition” led to the exchange of vice presidents, proven people of the head of the federation, a lot also happened in the context of the board. But the same man remained, as you can see, quite a controversial figure – in a broader context – journalistic reports.
