Prices lower than in Croatia and luxury hotels. We can fly here from Poland in 2 hours
This European country wants to attract tourists with luxury hotels. Poles can count on prices lower than in Croatia.
Renting apartments in Croatia is not the only way to have a successful holiday on the Adriatic Sea. Montenegro is increasingly attracting foreign guests with its offer of luxury hotels. “We want to position ourselves as a high-quality tourist destination, offering high-quality services and accommodation,” explained Montenegro’s Minister of Tourism, Simonida Kordić, in an interview with Euronews. However, the prices of food and attractions are often much lower than in resorts on the Makarska Riviera. Poles can also count on cheap and direct flights.
Montenegro is becoming a luxury destination
Poles who want a bit of luxury at a low price should consider holidays in Montenegro. As Euronews writes, in recent years, large international hotel groups such as Hilton, Hyatt, Melia, Radisson and Iberostar have turned their attention to the Montenegrin coast, building large complexes in exclusive enclaves. Five-star facilities can be found today, among others: in Porto Montenegro and the Bay of Kotor. “Currently, there are approximately 500 hotel facilities in the country, including a constantly growing network of five-star and boutique hotels that aim to meet the needs of demanding travelers,” we read.
Poles are attracted by low prices
For many years, Montenegro was considered a relatively cheap destination, and often cheaper than neighboring Croatia. Can you still count on low prices locally? In addition to top-class hotels, there are still many cheap accommodation facilities in this country, with prices starting from about PLN 200 per day in high season.
The prices of food and attractions may also be 10 to 30 percent higher than in neighboring Croatia. We will also pay less for a holiday in Montenegro than in Spain.
Polish travel agencies tempt with cheap offers of organized trips in this direction, but for many tourists low-budget flights are still the best solution. We can fly to Montenegro in about two hours from many Polish cities, including: from Krakow, Katowice, Wrocław and Warsaw.
