President of the PKol strongly about the actions of Minister Nitras. “He tries to politicize Polish sport”

The tense relationship between Radosław Piesiewicz and Sławomir Nitras, regardless of changes in the calendar, continues. The head of the Polish Academy of Sciences took the floor, pointing out the departure to the ministry.
We were arriving between the Polish Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, just after last year’s Olympic Games. The head of the ministry Sławomir Nitras decided to check how the PKol functioned and operated.
Radosław Piesiewicz with a clear message for Sławomir Nitras
It was also no secret that Radosław Piesiewicz was particularly taken under the magnifying glass, heavily associated with the previously ruling united right. However, the head of the PKol is invariably in his position, and what is more, he reacts to further actions from the ministry under the direction of Nitras.
This time Piesiewicz pointed to the tardiness of the ministry. In addition, he suggested that during the current governments there is attempts to politicize Polish sport, in the version “at all costs”. The head of the PKOK gave an interview for Wirtualna Polska / Sports fations, talking to journalist Mateusz Puka.
– If I meet Minister Nitras, I will embrace his hand and wish you success in 2025. For now … there was no such opportunity. I regret because I would like to remind him to finally write competitions for sports relationships (…) I am not the initiator of this dispute. If someone is trying to politicize Polish sport at all costs, it’s their problem. I note, however, that we already have January, and sports relationships still do not know how much money they will receive this year. This is key information needed for the normal functioning of these organizations. And yet in many disciplines preparations for the most important events are starting. These are matters that the minister should now prioritize – admitted Piesiewicz in an interview published on Tuesday (i.e. January 7) for WP/SportoweFakty.
Gentlemen Piesiewicz and Nitras exchange “courtesy” through the media, so it should be assumed that you will not have to wait long for the reaction of the minister.
