One of the journalists decided to encourage the Holy Father to organize a tennis tournament in which he could take part. He added that the legendary Andre Agassi could appear among the participants.
In response, Leon XIV was tempted to make a joke. “Until you bring Sinner, we can play,” replied the pope clearly amused. In this way, the Holy Father joked the name of an Italian athlete, because the word “sinner” in English means “sinner”.
