Polish world champion over the abyss. “I broke down because it was supposed to be better”

Agnieszka Rylik from Kołobrzeg decided on a sincere entry through social media. She described in it how her situation looks like. Unfortunately, in the case of the former world and European champion, known both in the world of kick-boxing and boxing, the situation is difficult.

– I was left alone and almost stopped walking through spine problems. During my sports career I had an Achilles, hand and knee operations. My knee couldn’t stand, so I had a second surgery, after which it was no longer well and ended my sports career (…) Sometimes I am not able to get out of bed by pain. The legs numb and pierce them with pain, when I stand for moments or sit. I can’t bend down. Pain gives up after some time when I lie down. It’s bad, worse than before surgery. Strong pain and paralyze my right leg. I broke down because it was supposed to be better (…) In the meantime I lost health insurance. It doesn’t matter that you work hard all your life. You don’t work, you don’t have insurance, you have no way to treat yourself, you have nothing to live for, you have nowhere to live. You fall into a vicious circle. If it wasn’t for my mother’s help and loved ones, I don’t know how I would survive this time. Thank you for being good and stayed with me bad. I don’t know what will happen next … you will probably say that I am hard, a fighter and I can handle it. But remember that I am an ordinary man who fell a lot for one person – we read in a long, moving entry of the former boxer.

As she admitted, she is currently fighting to return to a normal life. It was not necessary to wait long for the reaction of the world of martial arts. It was decided to set up a special collection for the champion from years ago.

– Good morning, I am the founder of the “Wake up potential” association. In 2024 I organized the second Benefis of Polish champions and world champions in professional boxing. I really wanted to host all 10 great boxing athletes at this event. When everyone except Agnieszka Rylik reacted to my inquiry, it did not give me peace, I contacted boxing commentators, foundations and people from the world of sport. Nobody was able to answer the question of what was happening to our wonderful champion. On October 27, 2024, at 22.54, after Eveneta, which took place on October 19 at Messenger, Mrs. Agnieszka Rylik wrote back. We talked a long time that night. After the conversation, I decided to accompany the master in a different way in her way to free himself from her difficult life situation. The champion thought for a long time to describe her situation. It is thanks to the fans who did not forget about Agnieszka’s sports achievements and decided to describe her own difficult situation on the day of her birthday and name day – we read in the content of the collection (original spelling).

The entry Rylik appeared on Facebook on January 22. As the former boxer admitted, she wanted to open, but also thank you for her birthday wishes, which she received on the occasion of the 51st birthday, which struck the day before (i.e. 21.01). Since then, the collection has been supported by over 700 people (as of Friday, January 24).

So you can see that the famous was a sportswoman, she can count on considerable support. What certainly building, especially in the face of such big problems that Rylik decided to talk in public about.
