In Paris, on the other hand, it was decided to organize the opening ceremony on the Seine River. The activists boasted that thanks to this, up to 300 thousand spectators can watch the opening live.
Polish volleyball players impressed
Even before the evening celebrations began, photos of Polish volleyball players appeared on social media, delighting Internet users with their outfits, but also surprising them. Long dresses from the Olympic collection resembled Japanese style.
Many athletes and sportswomen dreamed that the weather would be good during the opening of the games. Unfortunately, this did not happen. Black clouds hung over Paris and it was raining. This meant that the wonderful costumes of the Polish women had to be covered with rainwater. This was met with some disappointment, and an interesting photo was posted on social media by Magdalena Jurczyk. The caption “the spell is broken” says it all.
